Rental Policies
Pat’s Waterton requires that you be a respectful rider and obey all stated rules. We do reserve the right to terminate any rental agreement for unsafe driving and the rider will forfeit the damage deposit.
Pat’s Waterton requires that each renter sign off on a terms of use and liabilty agreement for insurance purposes.
Surrey
- Renter (signee) must be at least 18 years of age
- Credit Card imprint is required (damage deposit)
- Must remain on the roads, and obey the traffic laws (no sidewalks, paths or trails)
- Rider is responsible for any damages that may occur
- 3 riders to a bench, 2 small children can ride in the front basket
- No hanging off the back or sides
- Children should always be accompanied by an adult
- Rental services may be denied to an unsafe driver
- Tandem bikes follow the same rules, with the exception that they remain ONLY in town

Bicycles
- Renter (signee) must be at least 18 years of age, minors must be supervised by an adult
- Credit Card imprint is required (damage deposit)
- Bikes may travel on town roads, designated bike paths and approved trails in the backcountry
- We encourage all riders to wear a helmet
- Alberta law requires riders under 18 wear a helmet
- Rider is responsible for any damages done to the bike while in their use
- Rental services will be refused to an unsafe rider
- Bike locks are available for day rentals
- No overnight rentals- bikes must be returned before dark on a day rental
- Tandem bikes follow the same rules, with the exception that they remain ONLY in town
